Pottery Pendant Set in Sterling Silver

Approx Measurements:

 This pottery comes from the historic town of St Pierre which was totally destroyed in 1902 by the volcanic eruption of Mt Pelée. Pottery fragments can be found in the shallow waters off the beach and are a combination of remnants from the destruction of the city and from the wreckage of the trading vessels sunk in the harbour.
